I think - no criticism of HDSDR at all - it is exactly what the developer intended it to be, uncluttered, easy, effective and lightweight - but it's a fairly different experience from what you have in Excalibur, being more professional software and signal processing power with the GR31 features.ДЄlso there is CubicSDR for Mac which runs with the RTL dongles and AirSpy etc but not Winradio that I can see. It works well with my Winradio G305e too and the Colibri Nano, RF Space hardware. HDSDR is a very enjoyable SDR option with great functionality, a clean minimal interface and I like it for my Icom IC-R8600 which really doesn't do SDR above 30 MHz. HDSDR in Windows 10 should work well as there is a driver (ExtIO dll) file for it listed on HDSDR (redirects to Bonito but is the driver file you'd need).

In short the only HDSDR I find that runs on Mac is using the RTL dongle SDR driver only as far as I can see and wouldn't work for your GR31.The last update was 2/2017 and I see quite a few had issues getting the RTL dongle to run in HDSDR/Mac but I haven't tried it. The Excalibur software looks very impressive still. What an outstanding receiver the GR31 is, I keep thinking about adding it or the GR33 soon. Think it would work in the Parallels made virtual W10 ? Items without some advice on from you folks, and hearing that it does actually work. It's so hard now for me at my age to de-bug my Mac or any pc, am a bit reluctant to try these Think this would solve my problem and enable running in the Parallels virtual W10 ? So, I set up a 'pure' new W10, on my Mac, and use the Mac Bootcamp App to get to it.Д«ut, the switching back and forth between the Mac OS and W10 is incredibly slow. That there is too much data transfer, etc. The folks at Win Radio confirmed this, saying something to the effect The Excalibur will not run in this virtual machine. I have the program Parallels on the Mac, which sets up a virtual Citizen now, very, and getting back into hobby.ДЄlso have a Mac, and hence my problems and questions:
